A .jpg file was imported into Revit but when it is rotated it becomes a
black retangle. Any solution?

are you using Revit 9.0? before 9.0, you could only rotae JPGs in 90 degree
increments. 9.0 you can rotate to any angle

Yes, before .jpg was only 90° but with Revit 9 .jpg is to be rotated any °,
but this one .jpg turns into a black retangle when rotated. Why?

I had this exact same problem. You need to reduce the resolution of your
.jpg file. In this case size does matter.

The solution from Autodesk subscription was to bring the .jpg file into
Revit 9 and then export it as .jpg and then import the new .jpg file,
again. Worked like majic. The original file was somehow corrupted and this
method clean it up. The new .jpg can be rotated.

That's an interesting solution. I simply made the file smaller (it was
rather huge 12Mb). I wonder if it was corrupted and reducing it
un-corrupted it, or whether it was too large a file? At least now I have
more than one solution to try if it happens again.
