Room Tag

I'd like to construct a Room Tag which I can 'click on' and 'click off' various labels. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want those various labels to measure the room

in various ways?

The labels need not report room sizes. I would like the various labels to report mainly text categories like FLOOR & CEILING FINISHES, CEILING HEIGHT, ROOM NUMBERS ETC ETC.

Do you mean SF or room dimensions?

SF?

I just want to create one room tag family that I can use on Floor Plans, Ceiling Plans and Sections etc. Each time the tag wil report the ROOM NAME, THE ROOM NUMBER and depending on what I click, the FLOOR FINISH (just text) and CEILING FINISH (just text) etc etc. Currently our office has too many tags to select from; I'm trying to creat one tag to cover alot of bases.

Thanks for your help.

SF = Square Foot

Rooms don't know anything about materials.

But sure you can do just about anything with Revit.

I never did it but I guess you could create a shared

parameter for the room and then create a tag to

read it and put it in that room. All this would be

done manually of course. Probably not practical.
