I need some advice. I want to create a finish schedule forrooms within my building. Particularly, scheduling material takeoffs. These materials are applied with the paint tool. If I have a room with 6 wall surfaces, each wall with 2 materials on it, how can I create a schedule that gives me each walls materials and the area they take up, as well as provides some sort of labeling system for the walls, AS WELL as identify which room these materials are in.
i.e. Room number, wall identifier (maybe A,B,C,D,E,F, etc), material, area.
It is critical for my uses that these schedules are done via the materials and modeled elements (I will evenutally use the technique for floors and ceilings.
