goodness! How quaintly inefficient. I must be spoiled by ALLPLAN.
Nevertheless, thanks very much for the info. I have no doubt I can get used to
doing, then modifying. Richard

further testing using various templates, I have found that it is normal for
the temporary dimension tolerance setting to be 6". How I got stuck with
x/256" on an earlier experimental project, I don't know. A 6" tolerance is
much less frustrating, but I would still like to know where the tolerance is
specified. Any ideas? Richard

think you solved it. I found the SNAPS settings in the SETTINGS menu, not in
TOOLS. Without knowing the design strategy of the length dimension increments
field, which you described clearly, I couldn't prove to myself that that was
what I was looking for. Thanks very much Richard
Hello.
I would like to have more inform regarding this post. I have been frustrated with the temporary dimension displaying to the nearest 1/256". My preference is if I can see temporary dimension to the nearest 1/16" and how do I do this?
I tried changing the snap distance as mention here but have had no luck. Will someone please guide me a little more on what to do. It will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
