Revit server 2014 - How to sync to central server

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to implement Revit server in our organisation. We have installed Revit server on windows 2013 server. We are able to connect to our local server and sync and relinquish the revit model. We had setup another server in our branch office. Now, how to sync the revit model in the local server to the server in branch office. We are able to see both the servers in revit server admin and also copy paste files through browser.

Thanks.

Naveen

In this case one of the servers needs to be defined as the "administrator" and the other one as an "accelerator".

Since there have been several questions about Revit Server this week, I would suggest to those who are interested, to use the benefits of the subscription center, and read or watch some lectures of Autodesk University about this subject, to get some more documentation on the most difficult topics, especially connecting multiple servers. One of the speakers who has given lectures about this is Robert Manna.

We have gone through the best process defined and explained Autodesk website, and many other tutorials. Theoretically everything appears to be right. Practically we failed. ServerA is accelerator which is our local server. ServerB is our host server which we want to connect. We have given serverA as accelerator in Revit API. While opening a project we the end user is/are connecting to ServerA to open the file from ServerB, we get error. Opening the file directly wian WAN doest appear to be correct. As we dont want each end user to connect to Host via WAN.

Please help
