Revit: how to set custom scale to 1"=1/4"

I am creating a scale model for a laser cutter using 1/4" mdf.  So my drawing needs to be 1/4".  How do we change the Revit custom scale to 1"=1/4" OR 1/4" = 1/4"?

  • About the first question, the ratio for 1" = 1/4" would be 1 : 0.25 ; which is not possible in Revit. The ratio must be a positive integer.

  • Your second question, about 1/4" = 1/4", the ratio would be 1 : 1 ; then, select 12" = 1'-0" ,  which is the same. That is the highest detail possible in Revit.
