Hope some one here can help me with this. I have a Revit drawing that crashes every time I try and place a keynote. It does not matter if I use be element, material or by user. I have ran an audit on the file already and found no problems.
Are you trying to place them by editing a view on a sheet or is this a dependant view? If so, this is a known bug. The work-around, is to open the paraen view, even if it is in the background. Then it should stop crashing.
