Revit/Civil 3d Interaction Improvements

I normally don't like to cross-post but this particular post is about how Revit interacts with Civil 3d.  With that in mind, I've already created a thread in the C3D Wishes forum.  But I wanted to post it here too.

If you DO wish to reply, please do so in the other thread:  http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Civil-3D-Wishes/Insert-REVIT-Bldg-Footprint-into-Acad/td-p/377....

But here's what the message says:

This is really a wishlist item that effects both C3D AND Revit.  We use Revit for our Arch/MEP work and C3D for our Survey/Civil Design work.

It sure would be nice if we could attach the revit file directly to our site plan and have it show the bldg's footprint.  If the footprint changes in the rvt file, the changes would be automatically shown on the civil plans.

While we're at it:  Having ref'd the rvt file into C3D, now revit should be able to figure out exactly where on the site the bldg sits (for the purposes of showing the ground elevations correctly).
