Revit Architect 2013 does not detect correct NVIDIA driver

Hello All,

I have a problem with our Revit 2013 Architect installation.

The computer is an HP Z820 Workstation running Windows 2008 R2 with all the drivers properly installed. The graphic card is an NVIDIA Quadro 5000 and the installed driver for this card is 8.17.12.7642. This is the recommended driver version on Autodesk website. The problem is that when I check within Revit it does not detect the correct driver version and states that the driver is an older version. I have tried other drivers including the very latest directly from NVIDIA with no success. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Revit installation is on update 2.

With many thanks in Advance.

John

you know revit is designed to run on server OS right

Thanks for responding.
No Citrix at this time. We are using RDP and Microsoft Remote App. However even if I directly run Revit on the console I still have problem detecting the correct driver version. Other than that The program runs very smooth for the most part

just so you know this setup violates autodesk license agreement

i wouldn't worry about revit not detecting the correct drivers then

Thanks for the advice. We will go that way. This is just a test right now to check the performance and find out if it works at all
