Revit 2013 doesn't launch

Bldg Design Suite 2013 was installed correctly and now, Revit loads  but doesn't launch. It flashes as if it will start and closes.

You might be experiencing a corrupt CascadeInfo.cas file.  See http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS13894457 for more information and the fix.  The technical solution was written for 2010 products, but I have seen this in later releases.  If that is not the problem, you might try searching for crash on startup for Revit in the Knowledge Base.

Thank you and my version is a standalone and not network. Does that matter?

Check if you have Panda Antivirus Running, there is a patch if this is the case.

Per the technical solution, that only applies to network licensed software.
