Revit 2012 IFC Export

The IFC Export does not work properly.  Unlike the DWG Export & DWF Export the current view only does not work.

Seeing as we are now being asked for IFC files this is not good, as we get all sorts of extra information we do not want on our exports.

Also opening the exported model in Revit takes an hour!   Hopefully our stellwork contractor's software can open the file quicker.

Are you using the latest version of the IFC exporter?  It is supposed to fix the "export current view only" bug.  You can download it here:

A quick test shows that this does work better, and only includes elements that intersect the section box.  It still throws up some odd results though, with some elements placed at the wrong height, or even in the wrong place on plan.
