Revit 2012 : DWGs Line Weights into Revit (...yet again the perenial question)

Trying to import DWG Window Dets. (from Mfr) to no avail. All heavy lines in Revit

Have tried setting up Import DWG line weights in Revit (the litte arrow under the Import Section in V. 2012). Changed de default all "1's" penweights. Revit can't load setting or save settings.

Does anyone have the right procedure, it seems I'm either missing steps or in wrong secquence. Have tried several approaches ...and nope! still heavy lines.

Will appreciate to hear some wisdom...

you may try these two option:

• try to do this in Autocad instead of relying on Revit (always recommend to do all cleanup in autocad before importing)
• use Visibility/Graphics override (though it's view specific) in revit
