When will we be able to request the paper versions of the User Guide and Tutorials from Autodesk Subscription? I've been checking every day and so far its still not available.

Thanks for the link to the PDF. This will be a good start, however the request documentation link doesn't contain documentation for Revit 2010. There is doumentation for ACAD 2010 and Inventer 2010, and older Revit versions, but not Revit 2010. Please check into this.

I have been waiting for them to update the printed
versions section to include Revit Architecture 2010 as well.

update. I e-mailed service-center@autodesk.com about this and here was the response:

------------------------------------------
There is no published manual for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010, a viewable/downloadable version is available at:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=13080471
------------------------------------------

This is a new development, since I was able to order the User's Guide and tutorials for Revit 2009. Having to use the PDFs isn't the end of the world, however I find it disconcerting that Autodesk is scaling back services like providing a printed manual on request without telling us and also without reducing our Subscription Cost.

Product Documentation & Software - http://autodeskdocandmedia.com/
Not available as of July 18, 2009

Product documentation for the Revit Architecture Suite 2010 suggests documentation is available to subscription members, however, when trying to access Autodesk Product Documentation & Software web page it shows subscriber eligibility as:- "You are eligible to select only 1 of the following listed manuals per serial number" and on completing the forms states "There are no applicable manuals for the product you selected. Click here to enter a select a different product.

This thread shows others have the same issue..

If we accept a product manual for another product and if Autodesk in future provide the complete documentation for Revit Architecture Suite 2010 then we have lost the right to request our product documents?

This is a poor show! Edited by: PaulEgan5856 on Aug 6, 2009 1:01 PM

Hi Fellow will be anarchists:

The cad store customer reps told me "NADA". (could it be an acronym for NO Autodesk Documentation Again") not even for 3DS MAX Design, just a 9 thousand page PDF (another acronym for Pretty Damn Funny). He said they're getting out of the business of printing materials. What is this save the trees? I say let us rise up in protest (another demonstration of the oppressed "Hands On Feel it touch it crowed) and voice our descent to Autodesk and DEMAND our $3000 plus worth. Something substantial we can see in color and thumb through, not just an almost 5" diameter disk. Who's with me. Write your congressmen, call the President (Autodesk that is). Do something Autodesk, not just for AutoCAD 2010 and ACA 2010, but your many other Programs. Now that I've said my piece. How's everybody liking Revit 2010? Have a nice weekend everybody.
