Revision Schedule

When setting up a title block, I can't bring in a revision schedule.
The lists the Revision Schedule and everything else on the list
grayed out. Is there some setting to enable the Revision Schedule to be
accessible?

You can't make a revision schedule in your main project file, it must be in
the title block template. Then when you look under the view->new it won't
be grayed out.

if you are using 9.1, its a known-issue. Use 9.0 to create the titleblock
with revision, then update it to 9.1. Not sure if the new build released
last week fixes this or not. You may want to download and install the new
9.1 build.

The latest Autodesk Revit Building 9.1 - 20060928_2300 released a couple of days ago corrects this problem. Go to the Autodesk website and download, install and use the latest build Grasshopper.Confusius says to always "check the Autodesk website for new builds" that "they will enlighten your mind and lead you on the path of righteousness".

It would be nice if Autodesk could do a mail merge and let all there clients
know about a new build.
That way we wouldn't have to follow Confusius and check the website on a
daily basis.

Scott and everyone else who has posted in this thread or read it.

I was premature in my directing everyone to a new build to solve the problem of revision schedules in title blocks in the current 20060810 build. While on AUGI.com I noticed an announcement for a newer build 20060928 website posted by Wes and immediately downloaded the build.

I guess Wes also jumped the gun and he informed me that in an offline discussion:

"It never was on the web officially -- I had a direct link, but was later informed that the build is not for public release. That build was made to address a particular problem some Revit users were having -- an interim build if you will. If the build isn't made public that usually means that the Factory is working on other fixes and another public build will be posted after it's been given QA testing."

So the build was pulled immediately. but not after I had installed the updated build and tried it out, only to find that it did correct a current issue I was having with revision schedules in title blocks families.

My apologies to everyone who has wasted any time pursuing the location of this updated build as a result of my posting here. And no, I am not going to post or email the interim build, so do not ask. It would not be in accord with the non disclosure agreement I signed with Autodesk or be warranted in view of the Factory's treatment of this build as not for prime time.

I will continue to report any further issues this build presents and like all of you wait for the official build release, which cannot be too far away.
