Retractable roofs

Where can I find a good source of learning how to create/model retractable stadium roofs for revit 2011? Trusses?

This would be a fairly complex family if you needed it to manipulate and move with parameters \ constraints.  I don’t know if there are any specific examples or tutorials available that are retractable roof-specific.  It would be an extension of the basic concepts for advanced family constructions such as:
