REvit 2013 fails to start

When i click on the icon i get a message that states that Revit has stopped working, a problem has cuased tthe program to stopworking correctly.

Does any know what the issue is?

did it ever work or did you just install it the first time?

If this is the first install, did you download or use the USB stick to install? Maybe just re-install.

did you include SP1? i had the issue that after implementing SP1 it would not open files anymore. i then de-installed it completely and re-installed (with the option to include SP1 right away) and that seemed to help.

Obviously there is a wide array of non-autodesk issues your PC could have.

And it sounds yo have the full Revit version (inc. MEP, Arch/structural)?

i think more information is needed. Do yo have 64-bit system and 8GB memory? Did the 2012 version work....
