Question: How to add Submittal Data to Project in Revit 2012 or 2013?

Hello All,

I am in the process of adding submittal data, for mechanical components, (in PDF form) to a project I am currently working on. I am linking the PDF via URL and have successfully linked it, however the link just goes to the PDF but I need it to go to specific pages of the PDF. How can I accomplish this?? The process that I am using is as follows: select mechanical component, click on edit family, select family types and add parameter information.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To set the URL parameter in the family to open a PDF document from the web on a specific page, add

#page=[page number]  

after ".pdf", such as in this example:

http://www.carriercca.com/pdf/products_pdf/24ACB7_Product_Data.pdf#page=24
