Plotting raster vs vector

Still trying to set up revit standards can't come to conclusion regarding plotting vector or raster.  My personal (limited) experience raster plotting has been poor quality with vector the plots are cleaner and it seems I have better control of shaded areas. Any comments?

From my personal experience I should say that I prefer to print using Vector Procesing by default. Anyway ,if this can't be done due to fact that: shading, shadows point clouds or gradient are present , the system will turn to Raster Processing.

Raster images are suitable for picture like images but they need a higher resolution. Zooming in a raster image ends in a blured - pixelate image.

Vectors allows a accurate view at any rate of zooming in...

So , when I have to print in raster (supose that in my sheet there are raster images like photos or shadows) I'll try then to increase the resolution - number of DPIs..
