Pipe problem, mounting a drip tray

I was asked to find a method of mounting a drip tray under a pipe, and the tray is follow the pipe.

My problem is, I havn't got a clue how to make it. Revit is all new to me (though 20 years of AutoCad)drip trap.jpg

I suggest using a Generic Model Adaptative Family:

If you need the tray only for a straight line direction you can use also a Generic Model Line Based Family , but I recomend usung the Adaptative

I've attached both files , because the Liniar can be easier understood....

or, maybe , if your pipe is many curvatures , is better to make a Sweep using as Path the center line of the pipe and as profile a parametric Profiele as in my previous post.

In this case, changing the pipe path ,will automaticaly change the Drip Tray path....

Thank you for the help, ...this has been hard to ask for help; pride. (I have moved from the Master/teacher to Grasshopper),
