Phase filter graphic override changes line style of all objects in view

Is there a way to limit the phase graphic overrides to affect just the walls?

I am trying to customize my phase filter and phasing graphic override settings to show lighter existing walls and new walls with a gray fill.  When I apply the graphic overrides and set the phase filters for the 'complete' phase to 'overridden', everything in my drawing changes along with the walls.  For example, door swings are no longer dashed, overhead beams are no longer dashed, kitchen sink and all furniture are too heavy.  I have changed the lineweight in the 'projection' part of the graphic override to a lighter pen, but this doesn't fix the problem of losing the dashed lines where I had set them up.
