Path type selection for linked dwg files in Revit Server

We have found that we cannot select a relative path for a dwg linked file in Revit Server. I understand that any Revit links are loaded into Revit Server and are therefor always set to absolute.

With Revit Server the path type is unavailable, even for dwg links.

Is this as designed?

This is as-designed; with Revit Server you cannot modify the path type.  Revit Server uses a somewhat unique path structure which you cannot modify.
