New vs: Existing walls

Hello, I am wondering where Revit aquires its information on what lineweight to use for new and existing walls? The new walls show up in plan view with a decent lineweight but the existing are still alittle light. Would that be considered a "thin" line? Or is there somewhere else you go to set up the lineweight for existing wall types?

Thanks

The existing wall display is controled by the phase graphic overides, Under settings>phases> graphic overides, you select the display properties you want.

The solution is as simple as making new materials/line-styles that are not
used by anything else and using them for existing conditions.
