New Features of 7, a better PDF

Is there a "What's New in Revit 7.0" PDF that'll actually opens in a reasonable amount of time, and doesn't require many minutes for some of the thumbnails to open. The PDF is excruciatingly slow to scroll and nearly useless in its current form. -- Mark McDonough Sasaki Associates http://www.sasaki.com

I did download it. It's excruciatingly slow to scroll, and eventually comes up with a "program not responding" message. I'm using Acrobat Reader 5. What are you using. -- Mark McDonough Sasaki Associates http://www.sasaki.com "sdbrown" wrote in message news:14169634.1100035831100.JavaMail.jive@jiveforum1.autodesk.com... > why don't you just download the pdf, I had no issues with it.

I just opened the PDF again, and went to the document summary. It is a PDF created with version 6... that's why (I suppose) that it chokes when attempting to view it with Acrobat Reader 5. When I try to do a word search in the PDF, it locks up the prgram and issues the "program not responding" error. -- Mark McDonough Sasaki Associates http://www.sasaki.com "Clyne Curtis" wrote in message news:41914194$1_1@newsprd01... > Acrobat 6.0 here...no problems at all. > > Clyne Curtis > Brigham Young University

Nevermind. I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader 6.0.1, and the PDF now works properly (albeit, it's still a bit slow), and I was able to do a word find on it. It would be nice if the Revit downloads page said something more than: "PDF files require the Adobe® Acrobat® reader. " and instead said: "PDF files require the Adobe® Acrobat® reader 6.0 or higher" -- Mark McDonough Sasaki Associates http://www.sasaki.com "Mark McDonough" wrote in message news:41914397$1_3@newsprd01... > I just opened the PDF again, and went to the document summary.
