Need help with automatic scale bar

I want to make a scale bar that automatically changes with the scale of the
title.... Please see the example image attached. Could anyone help me with
what direction I should be looking or what I should be doing?

Well, it's easy to make one that scales the Graphic up and down, however you can't make one (as far as I know) that will also change the numbers for you.

This is because the scale bar is an Annotation Element (which scale automatically), which don't have a way to 'know' what the scale of the view is. At least that I've been able to find.

So what I did is I made a Graphic Scale like this one, and made it an Annotation Element so it scales the graphic up and down; and then I made the numbers underneath parametric so that I can edit one and have the rest change for me. It's not fully automatic, but it's close...

Have you considered making a detail family and dropping it directly into
view? Detail families understand view scale and adjust appropriately.
Unfortunately there is no way to include detail family into view title and
achieve ultimate automation.

I wasnt thinking it would read the view to make the adjustment, BUT I was
hoping it could read the scale(which reads the view) and adjust accordingly.

To make it fully automatic, so that the graphic & the numbers change with the scale? I beleve so.

To make it semi-automatic, so that the grpahic changes automatically with the scale, but you have to switch the numbers? Not at all. You make one, you make it parametric, and then you make types; one type for each scale. Or you do what I did, and just make the numbers based off of a formula, so you change one and the others fill themselves out automatically, so that you only need edit the legend once when you change a scale...
