Multiple Wall Cuts causing issues with a Family

Good Afternoon,

I'm having a wierd issue poping up when I try to align a generic wall hosted family in a wall.

I've attached the project file with some text to show whats going on, as its kinda hard to explain whats happening.

Basically, I want this family to align at the joint of the two different walls, it needs to be flush with the face of the cutting wall, and I can't get it to work properly unless I unjoin the walls (keeping the cut) but then I get separate wall lines in plan view, that I dont' want.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Strange one.

If it meets the design requirements you can get it to 0.2mm (sorry for the metric, Brit here Smiley Tongue)

I've attached that file.

What are you trying to do here anyway? Cut a reveal out of a wall?

Would be intresting in seeing the solution if you figure it out.

I think i could get away with that small measurement.

And its a Soldier course brow, I actually have added model lines on that family to mimic the course pattern.

But i'm still curious what revit is thinking, and why its not possible to cut the wall when the walls are joined.
