We are trying to figure out the "best practice" on how to do multicurved surface that you often have on furniture.
We have been working on this a while but find ourselves stuck with the tools in the family editor?
Can somebody point to some tutorials or tips on this?
Is it through another software that we should find the solution? Inventor Fusion? Sketchup?
We like the models to be as "bim" as possible, and have the paramteric possibilities within Revit, for asigning materials as well as flexing geometry.
Thanks in advance.

Without seeing what kind of furniture you're trying to create a Revit model of, it's hard to answer, but here a few pointers on modeling "organic" shapes:
1 - for simpler organic shapes (i.e. an extrusion with a different shape/position at each end), you can use the swept blend tool
2 - for more complex shapes, you're probably going to want to work in a mass family, where the organic shape modeling tools are a little more robust.
Try here (http://www.digitaleditiononline.com/display_article.php?id=522543) for some basic info, and then search google and youtube for "revit mass family editor".
