Move

Is there a way to move a group of objects a specified distance, without
editing the ghost dims that pop up? maybe I don't understand how thy work.
?? if I had a line out of whack in the middle of a bunch of lines how could
I move several of them say 3/32"? I'm trying to make a title block, if that
makes any difference. is there a way to get a bunch of the ghost dims to
show up to edit? how would I edit a annotation dimension, to update it's
distance similar to the ghost dimensions?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You've asked at least three different questions here. I'll answer only the first or main one. Select the several objects, then pick a point, drag the cursor in a given direction, then type in the distance.

Maybe either training or another pass at the tutorials might be in order.

That is not working. Whenever I try to type something I get a beep for
every keystroke.
is there a setting to turn that on.

do any of the dimensions turn blue when you select something to move?
if it does click on it and try typing in a distance there.
Can you post an image of what you want to acomplish?
