Move model(s) from Revit Server to local server folder (Windows Explorer)

Good morning folks,

I wonder if you could give me some guidance please on moving project files from Revit Server back to windows explorer environment without having to open each individually via Revit itself.

I am an administrator and have access via the web admin interface to view the files, however it doesnt seem to allow files to be downloaded or copy and pasted from there to WE.

The reason I ask for assistance is that there a lot of files to be moved (circa 60) and this can be a teadious and time consuming process. I'm sure it took me the best part of a day to load them all up there in the first place.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Hi J.arnnot, Currently, Revit Server Administrator only supports move folders and central models on Revit Server Hosts, or to move a model from one Host to another. If you want to move model from Revit Server to local folder, you need to open the model file in Revit, and then use Save As to save the model file to a local folder. If you have a lot of models to handle, you might consider to use Revit API to develop a script for the batch conversion. Thanks.
