Make odd pattern

Is it possible to make this pattern?

Try using the Hatch 22 extension.  With it, you can build custom hatch patterns (both model and drafting) in Revit, and save them out as .pat files.

It was also the first thing I thought of, but I can not get it to work. When I make my grid it's going to look like this.

rasm578s,

 

You doing a couple things incorrectly with regard to hatch22.

 

1) You boundary should be a rectangle...not an oddly shaped object.

2) You appear to be using the linestyle 'hatch22 - continuous' where (in most cases) you should be using 'hatch22 - dashed'

3) i encourage you to look at the samples file. It will help you a lot.
