Load Family dialog box does not appear

In Revit 2013 I attempt to load an item from the Family but I find that the “Load Family” dialog box does not appear. Any ideas how to get it to cooperate?  Even starting a new project the load family dialog box does not appear.  I have done: 1) system restore, 2 )  repaired install, 3 ) re-installed, 4) uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch but still the problems persists on this machine.  Thankfully all other office PC’s with Revit 2013 behave. After clicking the Load Family button, what text is displayed in the Status Bar?  If it says "Ready", there is a chance that the Load Family dialog is off-screen.  If this appears to be the case, try the following steps to get the dialog back on screen:

1. Click the Load Family button.
2. Press and hold the Windows key, then click the left or right arrow key.

If that doesn't work, try pressing the ALT and Space keys simultaneously and then press the M key.  This invokes the move command for the current dialog and you can then use the left and right arrows to move the dialog around.

Was going crazy trying to figure out how to get the dialog box into my screen view. Remoting from home with more screens then back in the office, dialog box was loading 'off screen'.
