Link Mgmt

I'm in the process of modeling several buildings that are all interconnected.  In an effort to keep the file size manageable, we want to do each building (and a portion of the corridor that connects them) in separate project files.

We also have a C3D file that contains the civil site data (contours, bldg footprints, parking lots etc).  We also want to link the C3D file into the revit project(s) to show what the contours will look like outside.  I need to use the contours to know where the stairs will touch down.

Anyway -- I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around how to link them together while maintaining the coordinate info.

Does anyone know of any good tutorials out there on the subject?

TIA!

Thanks.  I found the screencast especially helpful.  I've watched several of Paul's screencasts and I've always found them informative.
