Line type display Issue for a family

Hi,

I posted a similar post recently but have revised my question in the hope someone will be able to advise/assist me.

I have created a family. Some where along the way something has happened to the model line styles in the plan view. In all other views they display as they should.

It seems it has something to do with the 'view range', but in all other respects the family in question seems to display ok.

When I adjust the 'primary range' to say '-10' the family at 'a' and 'c' displays correctly. but if set at zero the lines display as dashed as shown in the attached image.

It seems to be related to this family only, and if I use the family to create a duplicate it has the same problem. The family in question seems to be the same in all other respects to others I have created.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Raoul

Thank you for posting.

It seems like the view has an override.

To make sure, please try the following:

1. Type VV or VG for visibility graphics

2. Under the Model category tab select the element under visibilty

3. Look if the Projection and Cut have any overrides.

Hope that helps!

Where/how are the lines located?  Could there be something (such as a floor) obscuring them in the project?

No, its in a family in which I have created a sweep. It is below the floor
reference plane. So I have changed the view range settings: primary range
Cut plane 1200, Bottom -100, view depth-level below -600.
