I use in my projects a workaround , because I need to draw the spot elevation at a little distance from some construction parts ( the peak of the roof, the eave...)

Sorry, but it appears to me that the 90° is an arbitary limit set by a programmer who didn't know any better. The limit should be adjusted to 180°, which would result in a T head. Many architects use an arrow wider than 90°. Some, like me, use 120° and many of my colleagues like 150°.
The solution I've come up with is simply to keep a group of detail lines representing the right geometry which I cut and paste around the drawing.
I still maintain that the 90° limit should be changed.
This function request "Allow arrow head larger than 90 degree" has been reported to the development team as wishlist.
