for Landscape architect and it adoption of BIM, is it preferable to use/learn Civil3D or Revit? I know basically they do the same, but I am more concerned about things such as terrain modelling and importing blocks from a library such as Trees, shrubs, bins, benches, etc...
Revit seems not to have all the wanted tools (especially in DTM) to properly develop Landscape projects with the precision you expect to issue a project in BIM. Civil 3D seems to have certain tools for this, but not sure about the blocks etc...and a bit worried about the so meany other features included in the program which I am not interested at all (pipe calculations, etc...)
