Keynote Uniclass txt file

Hi,

I have lost my Uniclass txt file for my Keynote.

Does anyone have a Uniclass (and Unicalss2) Excel or txt file to share please?

Jimi

Ok had to recreate it.

Here are the Uniclass 1 and 2 files.

The Uniclass 2 is a download from the NBS website

The Uniclass 1 is an extraction from a PDF to a Excel file then saved as a Tab Delimited txt file

Please use the files at your own risk.

I have checked  a small sample against a trusted source but I take no responsibility for any errors in the files.

Rather than starting a new thread - does anyone have a more up to date txt file for Uniclass2?  I know this is all still in a bit of flux just now but I'm trying to get my head around exactly how were are going to use it with Revit.

I'm really after a txt file which offers the same structure as the attached PDF.

cheers

If you have a PDF it is not that difficult to convert it to another format, like excel

Refer to CPIC for further information.

Attached the data from Ee-June2013.pdf

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Thanks,

Other than exporting this as a txt file is there anything else that needs to be done to it for it to work in Revit for keynotes?

Cheers

More needs to be done. Keybnote files are tab delimited text files. It needs a certain structure to create the folder tree like structure.

Autodesk univertity did a whole PRESENTATION about keynoting. You can find this on the Autodesk University website.

It includes an handout with all the details how the text files should be made.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that when I get a minute.

In the meantime I dissected the standard keynote file and amended the XLS file you posted.

TXT file attached which works nicely in Revit now.  If I get a chance I might do the other groups as well but this is the most relevant for my work at present.

Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.

Cheers
