Hi,

I have downloaded Revit 2015 and installed it on to Windows 8.1 pro, after I partitioned my hard drive on a mac book pro. When i open Revit it begins freezing and there is flickering on the book tool bar. Can you suggest anything?

hi,

i had the same problem , I unstalled 2015 then installed 2013, it worked then installed 2014 it crashed when i increased it to 200%( default) Ireduced it to 150% clicked apply button and it rebooted , and it worked, then applied the same to 2015 and now it is working . I was not clicking the APPLY button but was restarting manually, and the problem continued. Start off at 100%, 125% and see the performance. The only problem Is the buttons on the bootom  toolbar ribbon are small

HOW TO DO IT

-Right click on your desk top and  click on DISPLAY (left  bottom corner)

- increase or reduce the %  200%(default) and click APPLY then test REVIT

If the % is not displayed make sure the LET ME CHOOSE ONE SCALING LEVEL FOR ALL MY DISPLAYS is ticked

please let me know if it works for the benefit of othets

No, I did not.

When you update from Windows 8 to Widows 8.1, it doesn´t work anymore.

Hi Lynn Zhang

No, I gave up. My Dell Inspiron 15R 5537-A20 (16GB RAM) is not compatible with Windows 8.1. So far, Dell and Microsoft have not found a solution for this problem.

Thanks prechav1968 Heart

Yes this worked for me.

Thank god bars stopped flashing, I had an issue with trying to work and the program not responding when up to third image, having to end program through Task Manager.

I had all IT guys checking this for me and updating everything and I re installed Revit about 5 times.

This is the only thing that worked!!!

I went through [Control Panel / Display], as the correct option was not there when I right clicked.
