Interior images

I know this is something simple but forgot how.
My exterior 3D views, I can see through the windows into the building and it renders the same.

However, my interior views, I don't see through the glass to the outside and when I render, the outside sunlight doesn't light the inside; it's a dark image unless I put a light fixture inside.

Can someone tell me what I have forgotten? I would like to see the sunlight in my interior views.

Thanks

I'm answering my own question. It was a phasing problem. The windows where grayed out because they are phase 1 and I'm rendering a phase 2 image. How can I show phase 2 and not have a grayed out phase 1 window system?

Change your view settings to "show complete" for 3d renderings. Then you can set it to any phase and see the "finished product" at the end of that phase.
