Importing jpegs of materials not in Revit

Hi Everybody;

Can I import a jpeg of a material not found in the materials library. I'm using Revit 2009. I see in the manual that you can change some of an existing material but nothing on importing. Any and all information will be helpfull. Have a nice one everyone.

David,

Yes you can make/ alter materials with your own jpg files. They are not actually imported into the library per say. I place these additional files on the network with each project directory. Then I add a rendering path to the Options, and then anyone else on the team (once they add the path as well) can produce a rendering from that project.

Hi Scott;

I'll try that and let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the information. Have a nice weekend.
