Importing CAD files to Trial Version of Revit

Hello,

I have downloaded the trial version of Revit and am having some difficulty in importing my CAD files to Revit.  When I select the 'Import CAD' button it doesn't allow me to select any files from my Computer - when I click 'Desktop' I am advised that there are no CAD files located there even though I just saved one to my desktop.  I should note I am using AutoCAD 2013.

Thanks in advance for your help! Smiley Happy

Hello and Welcome to the Discussion!

So a trial version is the full version of but only viable for 30 days...

The first thing I would look at is the file type - what is the file type set to?

I know it may be a no brainier - but it is the first place I would look.

What type of file are you trying to bring in and what type of file type is it looking for?
