I'm going to buy a new laptop , I'll be installing Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds max . I found this laptop from Sony . and I wanted to make sure it is going to perform well , what do you think?
Here are the specs:
3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM quad-core processor (2.20GHz / 3.20GHz with Turbo Boost)[$150.00]
Windows 8 64-bit
15.5" LED backlit Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 640M LE (2GB) hybrid graphics with Intel® Wireless Display technology[$50.00]
750GB (7200rpm) hard drive
12GB (4GB fixed onboard + 8GB removable) DDR3-1333MHz [$90.00]
CD/DVD player / burner
Internal lithium polymer battery (4400mAh)
The 15" display with that resolution is bit small, i´ve one similar.
I think that the video card is adjusted...
and the mecanical HD is the slower component of the laptop... if you can, buy a SSD HD.
thanks for your response.
the SSD drive from sony has a maximum capcity of 128GB , I don't think this is enough storage for me ??
I agree with Jose, get a solid state drive. Have had one in my portable desktop system for a year and have been pleased with performance.
