How to set the distance between the views?

How to set the distance between the views?

Is there a way to set the distance between the views? How much is it by default?

Thanks

There is  no need to set the distance between these tags.  They can be moved any where you like.  If you click on just the "arrow" part of the tag, a line that represents where the elevation view is being "cut" from will be exposed.  You can adjust the position and the length of this line as needed.

Make the template file appear the way you like, and re-save it as a template.  Use that template to start a project, and it will always be the way you set it up to be.

Part of your implementation of Revit should be to create your own template file.  the out of the box templates are meant as a basic starting point.

Training is definitely a must as well.

Many thanks for the prompt answers Scott.

I feel that my question is still not answered. Just I wanted to know about the default distance between these tags and the way we reset them to their default mode.

Is there any philosophy beyond the default distance between the tags. My question might seem very minor just I wanted to know
