How to Pan using MagicMouse on Revit'11 installed in WIndows on my Mac?

I have Revit 2011 installed in Windows using Bootcamp on my Mac, and I would like to know how to Pan and Zoom properly using my Magic Mouse. Theres support for AutoCAD, something called MagicPrefs, but I was wondering if this helps for Revit also??

You should be able to zoom by default on the magic mouse by just sliding your finger up and down as done on the OSX side.

As far as panning goes I am not sure. I am also in the process of figuring this out for Revtt and 3ds Max...have you been able to find a solution?

I ran across this same issue; here's what I came up with.

In Revit, Options, User Interface, customize the keyboard shortcut for Pan Active View; I used "shift+P".  Now everytime you "shift+P" you'll invoke the Pan command.  Not the best solution but it works.  I actually use my normal Logitech Wireless USB mouse when I'm working in Revit on my iMac.

Hope this helps.

Try 'Shift + Right Mouse Button'. That should do the job.

Works on Revit 2013 and Revit 2014.

I work with Revit 2014 and I installed an app called MagicPrefs (http://magicprefs.com/). I have this app for a long time so I know It works with older versions of Revit as well.

You can configure every move you do in you magic mouse and magic trackpad, including Pan.

Hope it helps!

This is for rotating but what do we have to do for panning?

it rotates if you keep holding the shift button, pans if you let go. not elegant. but it works

This works! BUT if you're in a 3D view, you must use command + left mouse button. Wish you could use the same for each, but at least there's a fix for the Magic Mouse! I'm in Revit 2020.. Thank you!
