Hi chaps,
I'm very new to Revit and have been tasked with modelling an existing 6-floor ventilation building from as-built TIFs. I've got a couple of floors done but now the 3D view is getting very confusing. Is there a way to turn floors off in the 3D view? (I'm using 2015)
Thanks in advance,
S
I think that by floors you mean levels?
The easiest way is to switch on "Section box" in the your 3D View and resize the box by moving the arrows (visible when section box is selected).

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Just an alternative route which might work for you.
When in a 3D view. Right click on the view cube. Select "orient to view", "Floor Plans" and chose the floor plan which you want to see.
Revit will create the required section box. It will show your 3D view. in plan view and can then be re-oriented (e.g. select on the view cube) to another orienttion.
This might be a quicker solution.
