Hatch/detail from CAD

Okay so I'm new to Revit and am picking things up as I go.  Have found this forum to be exteamly helpful just by doing a little search.  I couldn't find a solution to this problem I'm having.

I'm Linking some CAD Details to my Revit drawing I recieved from an Architect.  I set up new Drafting Views linked me call out tags to my existing details I created and it's working "AWESOME"!  However when I bring my details in from CAD my hatch patterns and line types are not showing?  Hatch comes in as a solid black fill and my batt insulation is just a line?  Is there a way I can get these to show correctly?  I have brought them in as a black and white file so my layers don't print in color...  Please any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

What version are you using?

Does the hatches and the lineworks comes right in the detail view? (section or callout view)

Did you explode the Cad details in Revit?

What scale are you using to link the cad details?
Does it fixes the issue when you scale/resize your linked file to a larger size?

Here are some suggestions:

1. Import the dwg file at a custom scale (larger than the proper scale - maybe 4). Resize the dwg down to the proper size after it has been imported.

or

2. Try to explode the hatch in CAD. (we don't recomend doing this in Revit)

3. Set the proxygraphics to 1.

Also, please review the following post:

Hope that helps.
