HOW TO OPEN REVIT 2013 FILE IN REVIT2011

Hi sir,
I'm a 5th yr Architecture student and i'm using Revit Architecture. And i 'm using Student vision of Revit 2011 but i tried Revit 2013 as a trial and I can't able to open the project which done in Revit 2013 in Revit 2011. Is there any option to open latest version of work in older version.
Hoping for reply fast.

No, you cannot open newer projects on older versions of Revit.  You can try to export to IFC, and import that back into older version.

Is there any drawbacks to this? Won't I loose any feature, parameter or configuration?

Cheers.

you're changing formats and converting... i'm sure there will be lots of drawbacks.

I've never done it, so im not farmiliar with it, but... anytime you convert, data is modified/lost.  what/where? who knows... that's the risk.
