HOW TO ATTACH LINES AT THE TOP OF THE TERRAIN SURFACE

I need to attach lines at the top of a terrain surface, ill show the lines and the terrain.

  i have to keep it above the terrain couse if not i loose the line and i want to keep it no the terrain.

Try pad and move the pad to the line.

  hi, thank for answer. 

 

 if what you mean is building pad, i dont want to attach the terrain to the lines, i want to attach the lines to the terrain or maybe im wrong and i didnt understand the way you do it with pad.  

 

  i want to see it like the lines on the street.

I have seen your snap shot. The lines in the snap shot are 2D lines but your terrain is in 3D. So, you can’t attach these 2D lines with the terrain surface.

Solution: Make sub-region and draw the boundary line of your sub-region by following the 2D lines in the plan because only sub-region follows up-down surface of terrain.

Use subregion to project line to the terrain.

 HI, thanks, is there a way that i can make it dot line or dash without have to do it 1 by 1.

 

  here is what i got and it is exacly what i wanted but now i need to do it dot or dash.
