Grid Lines

I have been working in Revit 9 and for some reason I have lost some grid lines on some of my plan views. on one plan it shows up. on the other it doesn't. On some plans one is not showing and on some 2 are not showing. and on some all are showing. I have checked:

-if the annotation is hidden on that plan and that is not the answer.

-I tried to place another one and when I put the same number on it, Revit lets me know that the name is all ready in use.

-I opened the drawing up in Revit 9.1.

-I checked the properties of the grids on the sheets that they show on and the properties are the same on all except the specific name.

Any ideas.

Grid lines are 3D. Check that the 3D grid line goes up past the level you
want it to show in. If it looks like it does but is still not showing up,
click on it then right click it and select "Reset to 3D extents".

Yes, manipulating grids can be very dangerous, especially if you are not familiar with the concept of 3d grid vs 2d grid. Alot of our rookie users manipulate their grids in an elevation or section view without changing that particular grid in the elevation/section view to 2d.

Then they go into a panic when the grid disappears in a particular plan.
