Floors in Revit

I've designed both my first and second stories in plan veiw, but I forgot to add a floor. Now when I look at it in Section there is only a thin line dividing the 2 levels. I know how to insert a floor, but when I do this it drops the ceiling height. I can manually move the floor's placement, but I can't move the furniture along with it. Any suggestions?

Hi.

You need to look at 2 things.

When you place the floor, are you making sure you are setting the correct level with the correct offset. You shouldn't manually move the floor. It should be done from the instance properties.

For the furniture, select them, and then change the host to the floor you want. This makes them move with the floor as you move it. You will find a pick new host tool in the contextual ribbon when you select the furniture.
