Floor Slabs - carying thickness / chamfered transitions

Can this sort of detail be easily setup on a floor slab where the thickness varies ?

I know you can use a slab edge profile for the outer perimeter, but I'm not sure if there is an easier way to achieve this within the slab.

Thanks

Martin

what about using a boolean?

  1. first make a very thick floor slab of concrete (and possible some finish upper layers)
  2. make a verical Reference Plane and name it
  3. then make a Component > Model in Place > Family Category and Parameters > Floors - name it - make a Void Extrusion using the Work Plane Set to the vertical named Reference Plane made in step 2
  4. select the Floor from step 1 and the extruded void floor from step 3 and use Cut to combine them
