Fixed Window with Trim Problem

When I insert a Fixed Window with Trim from the Autodesk Generic Family, it installs with the "wall" behind it.  Thus, in my constructed bay the "wall" sticks out at all sides.  I will try to attach the pdf of the 3D to show you what I mean.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

Also, when I inserted a "Window Manufacturers'" fixed window component, this did not happen.  But I like to use the Generic products in my files for consistency.
